Re: Just bought 2006 S60 2.5T AWD, 212K

I'm partial to the coated Zimmermans with the Akebono pads Me, too. I put them on my FWD '06. Prior to that, brake dust would appear within hours of scrubbing the wheels clean. Now they stay nice. :) I also did my e-brake as it was not holding the car and I was concerned about the MA inspection. Re...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?

Both front control arms. What a PITA that is on a 2006 S60... Done without removing the knuckle. Used a jack to lift the knuckle so as to not overstretch the new control arm bushing when getting that ball joint stud through the hole. Still, a royal PITA. Next time I'll do it by taking out the knuck...

Re: New owner of a 2007 V70, big problems? The oil is real.

My hand held, hammer actuated impact wrench has short, hex drive screwdriver bits that might fit this job. Use a 6 point socket of ap...

Re: 2006 S60 2.5T AWD: cam/crank seal tools?

Rear cam plugs were used in early P2 years only.

Re: 2006 S60 2.5T AWD: cam/crank seal tools?

Are the rear camshaft plugs available on FCP because I'm all but guaranteed to foul it up while taking it out? Am I just supposed to replace those along with the actual seal? I read your post as "are rear camshaft plugs available on FCP?" There is way too much blind replacement recommende...
