Re: 2001 v70 xc - help with brake light switch.

I had some rear brake light issues that would come and go like gremlins until I replaced the rear brake ...

Re: 06 XC70 rear rotor minimum thickness
If Brembo says 10mm min for the rotor, I would take that as a reference, at least when it comes to quality rotors, which the OEM is. Maybe for a cheaper rotor with softer metal I would replace sooner, but on a quality part I wouldn't be worried, even at 10mm they still have a safe margin on them.

Eastern European Parts

Re: 1999 S70 GLT - What is this pipe for?
It's the evap purge takeoff. It goes to a T with one branch going down to the snorkel in front if the turbo, and the other branch connecting to the evap purge valve on the radiator. There are check valves in each circuit. Under calm running, the manifold side pulls the purge vacuum when commanded by...

Re: Fried battery, what is a good battery charger?
The gold standard intelligent chargers with many patents for desulfication are Ctek. I know for as fact BMW chargers are made by them and rebranded and are used by all their show room cars left on continuously. You can get them on Amazon. Swedish engineering to match the Volvo

Loud Scratchy noise when shifting into Drive or Reverse
95 850 Turbo sedan. I've never heard this noise before today. But when I shift into drive or reverse, along with the usual thud now I hear a fairly loud scratching type noise (dont want to say grinding, but i suppose it could described as a mild grinding noise). This may be the first time I've drive...
