Re: Spark Plugs: Copper vs Iridium vs Platinum FF#32
It could be one of them was faulty. Replacing them one at a time would have been a more accurate way of determining if it were the plug(s) I don't see what all the fuss is about plugs. If the fuse on a stick of dynamite is made of rope with some sulphur impregnated or a viscose fuse the resulting ba...

Re: Oil Leak '99 V70 - Large, but Hard to Find
That would be the most difficult pipe to access with an AWD. I was thinking this when mine failed when I put the motor together 3 years ago. I ended up buying a new pipe as the old one had been disturbed by constant re-insertion and trying to line up the gasket on the other end. Darn expensive littl...

Re: Buying a C70 2008 with Head gasket problem or one with transmission problem
They are awfully stumpy small dipsticks and totally different in location to a 98 S/V/C 70

Re: When does a CEM need programming? 2001 Volvo S60

Also if the VIN stored on the CEM doesn't match the VIN on the body/windscreen plate Volvo will not work on the car. For some people that's a blessing. Als...

Re: 07 S60 Immobilizer / Communication Errors / No Start
Yes the edge connector is on the base of the ECM. There are pink sliders in there that can release the modules but I'd rather use the special tool.
Wouldn't hurt to clean the TCM with electrical contact cleaner while you're in there.

Re: XC70 (05) battery flat, how to open booth?
Apply power by means of a booster pack or jumper cables at the jumper terminal in the engine bay at the flap under the + sign behind the fuse box. It is noted by the red circle.
Chassis - can be applied at the arrows or to the engine block. Then use remote or key to operate power locks.
