M56 manual transmission Swap: The Ultimate Parts List

Now that I've completed two manual swaps on P80s, I think it's time to make an up-to-date list of parts that you will need to do this swap. Keep in mind, this isn't a writeup on the swap itself... there are a few already that do a great job of showing the process (polskamafia mjl on here, for one!),...

Stumbled onto this thread while working a different problem

There is a water pipe change from 1998 to 1999 and the lower radiator hose is different in length and angle.

Yup, I believe the earlier cars had that. And NA cars had that style a little longer.

Wait b2fkb0 = Handy Dan? Did I know this and forget it or never know it? Drove the car home and found/fixed the main source of the growl; pass hub bearing. It was so loud I couldn’t hear the ds hub growling. That’s my next opportunity! Spenser sold me a great car with a lot of maintenance performed....
