Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
Yesterday I was finally able to install the Thule roof rack system on Ingrid, the new 98' S70 5-speed. Thanks again Neil and Chuck for helping me to find the parts for the mounting feet and the fit kit. It was a difficult installation because the bars would not go into the brackets without shaving m...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
I replaced the ABS unit on Ingrid the S70 yesterday with a Midwest ABS rebuilt one. But because I didn't remember how the connector comes off I broke off the little pins inside the cap that move the slide latches. And it took me until I re installed it to figure it out, because now I had to slide th...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
So, yesterday I changed the distributorcap and rotor. They've been on there for more than 80.000 kilometers, so it was time to change the parts. I cussed at my phone because it didn't really focus right, so the pictures are a bit blurry, but you can see it was time to change the parts. I've read on...

Volvo 850 Turbo Estate Model
I friend of mine bought a house that had a lot of stuff in it from the previous owner. He came across this 1/24 Tamiya model and thought of me. Pretty cool, it appears to me that it's complete. Not that I see myself ever having the patience or time for something like this. IMG_2441.JPG IMG_2442.JPG

Re: 06' V70 Front End Damage Repair
It took almost exactly 2 months, but Greta is finally rolling again on her own. I took her for a 8 mile test drive last night and besides the expected "coolant low" message, there were no surprises. Not really knowing how strong the impact on the engine was, I was a little nervous about so...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
It's all back together now and I drove my V70 to work today for the first time since my daughters accident. It looks a little funny with the mismatched front bumper, but it will get painted hopefully soon. Feels good driving that car again, plus it releases our 240 from daily duty :D . Good timing o...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
I did the first oil change on Ingrid the 98' S70, and also replaced the badly cracked front brake hoses. While I had the car up, I tried to diagnose a rattle that's presumably coming from the front right. But I was unable to find it. All heat shields and plastic panels seem to be firmly attached. Oh...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
That looks pretty awesome, steering wheel and windshield trim. Thanks for sharing the procedures too!
