New to me 240
Hello, Up until this point I have been only lurking in this forum, but I finally bought my first 240. So here is a little introduction if you will. The car is a 92' 240GL which spent most of it's life in California before it moved to Florida for a few years and then to MA to a collectors home. That ...

Re: Non-Volvo car chat megathread
Hello Bart, Cunifer is a great material for brake lines, I have used it for many years on different European cars. I buy it from a company called Fedhill. They also have all the fittings you could ever need. http://www.fedhillusa.com/ Years ago I bought a flaring tool from Eastwood. It's expensive, ...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
I made a new wiring harness for the driving lights in my daughters 850 to replace the cheap components that came with the lights. One of the connectors inside one light had shorted and melted and caused the fuse to blow. Also installed a brand new Interstate battery. This is all in preparation for h...

Re: Montana to Colorado and back
Now that's a proper trip report, awesome! Love the photos too.
I have never been out that way but it's on the list of destinations for sure. I get a major itch reading this and I want to get into the V70 and drive.
Great that you had a good time and the trip went smoothly.

Re: I've got a benign cyst in my brain...
Hi Matt, I am truly sorry to hear this. But it sounds like you are getting well informed to make smart decisions.
Nevertheless, you will be in my prayers.

Re: P2 Airbag Campaign October 2021 Airbag Recall is coming
Do you ever get that sense I do, of your neighbors kind of looking down their noses at your “old” car? Sometimes I let it annoy me, but I think to myself, I’ll still have this solid car after you’ve been through 2 or 3 throwaway cars. I know what you're talking about. There are people in our neighb...

Re: Rensi molded floor mats any good?
Back to the original question. I bought a set of Rensi rubber floor mats years ago for my 98' V70XC, which is the same as for an 850. The fit was terrible, they looked like they were a size too small. To make matters worse, they had nothing to hold them in place and they were sliding around. I think...

Re: I spotted a Volvo! thread
I just came back from Germany. Saw a nice P2 V70 with my favorite engine. It looked like it had powered mirrors which I have not seen in the US before.
I also spotted a V60 with a D3 in a parking lot, and a really nice 240 Turbo Wagon on a highway.
