So, you deleted the stock trans cooler? Then decided to run the oil cooler lines over and use the trans cooler side of the rad for an oil cooler?

Buy the proper radiator.

Right, solved.
Found my boost leak while starting to swap out the vacuum lines. Hose before intake is busted, no clue where I can get another one.

However all the hesitation and starting issues were from a bad connection to the temperature sensor under the thermostat.

Could be as simple as a header tank pressure cap failure. Fairly common. Maybe I just don't understand. Is there actually a failure of the radiator? Is it actually leaking? I appreciate the car is not next door, but it may not be totally failed. If it has been run without water it may have a failed ...

It probably has over-heated. Unless it's very close to you (which it doesn't sound like it is), just walk away.

The wiring to the relay is a common failure spot that can give that system.

Thet's the coolant drain port on the rear of the engine block.
