Re: Workshop trolley to have everything at hand
Maybe drill a hole ( 5-8mm ) off to the side in each drawer handle and drop a steel rod down through them. That would connect them all together and that alone might hold them in place. If not, then it wouldn't be hard to figure out a way to attach that rod to the cabinet while moving it around. I'm ...

Re: 1999 s70 Evita ignition keytumbler problem
The problem is the keys are coded to the car. Abscate said in one of the earlier posts he is having problems with the OBDII talking to the system that operates the keys so programming is an issue.

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
The blue could be bits of sealant if it was used anywhere like the water pump gasket, or it could be just general gunk. A new expansion tank would be a good idea, the plastic gets pretty weak over time.

Re: 850 - Tool question
Try this ?
https://www.amazon.com/Magnetic-Telesco ... B01ASCGFTY
Several brands over here, including Craftsman, but this is the first one I found.
Don't know if the MVS link will make it through all the airwaves.

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
For the past few weeks my dashboard lights have not been working when the headlight switch is turned to the "on" position. So figuring out my speed at night has been super fun. Anyway I decided to tear apart the switch and clean it up. A little cleaning with light sanding and new dielectri...

Hi Manov, How about these? I had the bendy one with the grab on the end. It works pretty well. https://www.amazon.ca/Flexible-Universal-Lighting-Multifunction-Collect/dp/B07H984GC5/ref=asc_df_B07H984GC5?tag=bingshopdesk-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=80539318303708&hvnetw=o&hvqmt=e&hvbmt...

Re: Does it look like I need to replace the PCV system?
I recommend cleaning the PCV if you have time and intend to keep the car for a while. Like you, I just got a car with 200k mi, so I cleaned the PCV and replaced its hoses as a preventative, even though my glove test passed. Your glove test is failing, though barely. The most clear visual indication ...

Re: my volvo 850se journal
I’ve found it doesn’t pay to be cheap on rubber parts. If you don’t want to live with knocking sounds, go with Volvo and cry but once.

Re: Does it look like I need to replace the PCV system?
Given the mild symptoms and the mileage I'd gather up the parts like FireFox suggested and then replace the PCV including the intake manifold gasket and throttle body gasket, and change all of the vacuum lines at the same time. This would give you a good baseline where you know there should be very ...
