Re: 2006 XC70 Handling Issue
Fluid shouldn't be brown, needs to be a clean green. A good flush is needed. Hope this is your solution.

Re: Hard Stumbling Start- Where to start?
Congratulations on the cheap fix. Glad you resolved your issue and posted the solution.
Others on this forum (with turbos) claim they run low test gas and don't have issues. My owners manual states minimum 91 octane and the only time in 16 years I ran low test, I had issues.

Re: Can anyone help with my color code? B980 =/= Oak?
I'll try to help. 1st, could you be more specific with the car, is it an NA, a 2.4T or a T5? This will help in confirming what color option she may have. 2nd, Go to the car and open the hood. Look for a silver/aluminum data tag like this. Take a pick and share or write down the upholstery color code...

Re: 07 XC70 replace timing belt confusion
Different opinion here: I wouldn't consider replacing a timing belt with only 45K on it. I believe the Volvo recommendation is replace at 105K. The car is obviously a garage queen and not driven often. I think you are wasting your $ changing it this early. I had a similar situation with a 1994 Nissa...

Re: key / fob / remote swap from one car to another?
Question: When you press the key fob lock or unlock button, do you hear a clicking in the driver door? If so, it may be the grommet (plastic) holding the rod that unlocks/locks the door is busted (ie. the rod is disconnected). It could also be your door lock mechanism has gone bad...that can be tran...

Re: 2004-xc70 turbo does not shut off
New to you car? I'm assuming you are not the original owner.
Potentially an exhaust system leak. If so, it could be dangerous with exhaust fumes leaking into the car.

Re: Engine System Service Urgent
Original MAF (mass air flow sensor)? Ever cleaned?
I'd google/read up on replacing your MAF and the symptoms of one going bad. If this is the issue, cleaning the sensor, or replacing with a junkyard one with the same PN would keep your expenses down.
Good luck.

Re: 2001 Volvo S60 Turn signal issue
I'll offer a few hints to hopefully help with your troubleshooting. You say the bulbs in question on the left side are good. Have you moved them to the right side to see if they work? Have you moved the bulbs from the right side to the left to see if they work? This could help eliminate if it is one...

Re: 2001 Volvo S60 Turn signal issue
So you've eliminated the bulbs as the problem. Original post said CEM and shunts were fine, even swapping shunts made no difference. Your last post says you have no power to the left turn signal shunt. So you are confident that you have no power and it is not the shunt for the left circuit? I'd susp...
