Re: I overcharged my xc90 and now it wont start, electrical problems
I spent a few minutes trying to correlate those codes, this is what I come up with in VIDA: 710B: equates to a CEM-3F84 or 85, see attached from VIDA for the 84 (fault or low-no signal). CEM-3F84.pdf 6C48: equates to a CEM- 6C48, see attached for a good description. CEM-6C48.pdf You still have an is...

Re: Cherry Red XC90 D5 with 364,000kms
Sweet looking ride. The headlights look a little rough, ABL is really stellar for light throw when the assemblies are working correctly. Good news is you can fix the fronts for the oxidation and make them look like new. Bad news is after 14 years of use, the bulb reflectors are probably burnt. Guy i...

Re: Missing PEM!
Maybe check and see if you have a fuel pressure sensor (FPS) on the end of your fuel rail. If you do not, you probably don't have DECOS (demand controlled fuel supply) and instead have a non-variable fuel pump which means no PEM to promote variable control to the pump as would have been managed by t...

Re: Cherry Red XC90 D5 with 364,000kms
Parking brake cables are being replaced why? This vehicle has a really weird way of tightening up the e-brake, it's a huge pain in the behind. If you're doing brakes, you can pull the "H" link and replace with a manual adjuster, tighten up the e-brake from time to time with a screwdriver i...

Re: 2007 XC90 Sputtering and won't go above 1600 RPM
See what this gets you (cut/paste from VIDA): ECM-P064300 Engine control module motor (ECM) checks the internal end-stage for 5 volt feed. If voltage becomes too high or too low, the diagnostic trouble code is generated. The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when the ignition is on. Substitut...

Re: 2006 XC90 4.4 v8 passenger seat belt removal from seat
Seat Side- Seatbelt XC90_1.jpg Body Side- Seatbelt XC90_2.jpg Cover comes off with a Torx T15, if it's original you'll need to cut a tie-wrap on the seat. These break all the time, progressive flex crack as your butt slides onto and off the seat. Can see here for PNs if you need a replacement- https...

Re: Need To Wash Engine Bay
Hole dates and vehicle application are hit or miss IMO, can see here for a 2006 (16k SN) and a 2008 (32k SN), one has a hole and the other does not- https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=591510#p591510 . Motors below SN 6833 were supposed to be an issue requiring recall level rewo...
