Re: 07 XC70 driver's side blows warm air with A/C on
75 F, 15 PSI low, 135 PSI high? According to internet charts, R134a at this temperature should be 35-45/150-170 PSI. I would add a bit and see how it goes.

Re: 07 XC70 driver's side blows warm air with A/C on
Is it peculiar that the static pressure (engine running, AC not running) readings are not the same on low (65 PSI) and high (100 PSI) side? Seem too far apart to just reflect gauge (in)accuracy. The high/low temperatures are different, so vapor pressure is different. But high side will eventually b...

Re: Vida CEM swapping
Just left a comment under one of modunlock's youtube video, pointing to that discussion, and guess what? It got removed promptly ;) His website also does not refer to our project anymore, like it used to. I know the modunlock's owner reads this. Honor our hard work, respect the GPLv3 license, abide ...

Re: Probably doing a first start tomorrow. Hope it works. (Cracked cylinder head)
The surface has to be very clean in order to measure warping as little as 0.05 mm. You didn't show us good quality pictures of the cylinder gaps. Usually exhaust leak happens there. Also how bad are the sleeves out of round at the top? White block engines are basically unrepairable. While it is theo...

Re: Questions about camshaft seals on a 02 V70XC
Drive with oil dip stick popped up, or the new seals will be blown out again. Avoid pushing it hard - the compression rings are worn, there's a lot of blow-by gasses entering the crankcase.

Re: Questions about camshaft seals on a 02 V70XC
In addition to the recommendation from vtl you can also cut a section of the oil cap seal temporarily to allow pressure to bleed off. May want a rag to catch any oil though as it could make a mess on the top of the engine. It will make a mess. The third cylinder intake camshaft lobe is right below ...
