vtl, Do you know the viscosity of Mobil 3309? Thanks for your explanation of viscosity numbers and impact on the transmission. volvolugnut 7.1-7.2 When I was rebuilding the transmission, I soaked frictions in Volvo ATF. Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
I have 2001 T5 with AW 50-50/51 with 208K miles. A rebuilt transmission was installed about 60K miles ago. I am in process of drain and fill sequence starting about 5 drain/fill of Maxlife and then 5 drain/fill with Mobil 3309. The old fluid was Mobil 3309, but I had been slow to refresh (about 60K...

Re: Engine quit while driving!
Check relays in the CEM, big ones controls power to BCM, ECM, TCM, etc. CEM can be faulty, too. Check for water leaks under cowl, the CEM access panel is prone to leak.

Re: 2002 Volvo v70xc
I have ordered two different timing belt kits and the belts are too short on both of them. What am I doing wrong? How do you install it? I mark the old belt location on camshaft and crankshaft sprockets in a few spots, remove old belt, transfer the marks to the new belt, fix the belt on camshaft sp...

Re: Head removal - stuck - 2004 xc70 2.5t
Turbo removal is not necessary, just undo the manifold.
Use gasket's cardboard to protect it while jiggling the repaired head around.

Re: Volvo PCV Banjo Bolt With Integrated Check Valve
Yes. Turbo engine does not have vacuum in intake manifold under boost. Check valve restricts pressure from entering the PCV system, which helps tremendously the other half of PCV, which already struggles to draw sufficient vacuum via the long heated pipe going around the block to turbo's intake.
