volvolugnut wrote: 06 Jan 2026, 09:10 Before you get excited, get a pressure gauge reading.

Re: I found this turbo vacuum line disconnected

Light foot definitely, since TCV only triggers in high engine loads, when it needs to get rid of of boost quickly. Vacuum leak was probably minimal, fuel trim idn't migrate to out of range yet.

Re: ECM-261A

DEM error is either bad pressure+temperature sensor or dead pump. Pump lasts about 10-11 years. Can be a bad DEM, too.

Re: Replacing Haldex 3 Pump and Filter, 2007 XC70.

BlackBart wrote: 12 Jan 2026, 09:22 What is the reason for removing some oil after topping it up? And what happens if you just fill it to dribbling out?

Re: Vida CEM swapping

And oif i unplug the teensy from OBD and plug it back in, it Will start from 00 00 00 00 00 again i presume? Re: Vida CEM swapping

It looks pretty good. But personally, I'd consider porting it to something like the STM32F743. It's much cheaper and more compact. Cracker needs more MHz than this thing has. Some CEMs won't crack with Teensy running at 180 MHz, for example. Also it needs a built-in CAN, external CAN controller via...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?

You have my attention. Any threads with the info? I will have to search it up. Good info to have to get out of a jam potentially in the future. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzUduzjR9W4 Disassemble the lock, toss the steering column lock into trash bin, grind the tumblers off, assemble back. You ...

Steal what? A 20 years old foreign car that is not known for reliability or any remaining resale value? :)
