Re: Acceptable Amount of Lateral Rod Bearing play

The rod caps are cracked, or fractured, in a way that they must go back exactly as they came out. They are ruined if you chose the wrong 1 of 2 orrpientations and tighten the journal bolts

Re: [2001 V70 2.4T] ECM-644A - Camshaft control, faulty position

The belt tension isn’t too critical , these belts do not jump time too easily. If the marks lineup, I would guess a faulty CVVt hub

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today....now sticky!!

Rolled over to MA for my daughters emergency surgery, slept three hours in th parking lot using a stolen Delta airlines blanket, just saw in recovery. All good, minus a small redundant body part.

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today....now sticky!!

Yo, abscate, Was it a defective appendix? Sis had that last year. Makes today's headlight and parking light replacements seem minor. Torsioned girl part. In medicine the gold standard of most painful conditions. After 12 hours of pain, she walked 3 hours after a 2 hour operation without pain killer...
