Re: anyone have a problem with c70 flashing stc lamp with spare tire mounted
It might be the difference in size between the tires and small spare is enough to trigger the wheel speed difference parameter in software - have a look in the owners manual to see if this is the case? You can turn off STC with the button if it is coming on all the time` speed limit with spare is 50...

Re: 2000 V70 NA Intake Air Temp Sensor? Not used on 20 V engine
I think we finally have this down
Cars with DOHC on the cover have hood springs that fail early, and 20 valve cars valve springs won't fit the rear springs of P2s

Re: 2006 XC70 MAF code with issues
The mechanic should have spent the hour monitoring fuel trims and fuel pressure to track down the problem. If they are just throwing parts at it, you add labor costs to the cost of good parts replacement. My 1999 had a hose split that came and went, causing rough cold idle, that showed nicely on fue...

Re: 2000 v70xc 2.4T idle problem/power problem *long*
Slight surging at idle is also a symptom of a vacuum leak - these cars are too complicated to diagnose by symptom - you need data. If you get the slight throttle bounce when you come off drive, thats a pretty good indicator of a bad hose somewhere.

Re: Delayed start when cold.
Delayed cranking is often the result of a bad pigtail between the solenoid and starter
You have to remove the starter to diagnose.

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today....now sticky!!

Re: Driver Information Module (Instrument Cluster) repair options?
I enjoyed reading this thread just for the kickass analysis of the options. I think your evaluation procedure could be ISO 14000

Re: Rear transmission mount replacement
Just watched through the video. I was completely surprised he managed to sneak that extension and socket between the subframe and the swaybar. I'll have to try that when I get home tonight. That gap looked really tight when I was looking yesterday evening. I'm with you on videos, there is way too m...
