Re: What did you do to your Volvo today? (now Sticky!!)

Run your coolant out by flushing with hose water before dropping the core. Water is a lot easier to clean up than coolant. You can test run it on water and , again, let any leaks just dry out. Once it’s all sorted, add 4 liters coolant or as needed for 50-50 10 HP increase for having Volvo written o...

Re: Dim not responding 2005 V70 2.4 NA

There is a TSB on resealing the CEM harness, see if that’s been done.

P80 Master O-ring Model Part Number Size Type Comment Thread

You know the scenario - you are working on the car, then suddenly and O-ring is broken Our great vendors have these parts, but you need to be back on the road now, and $20 shipping on a 0.29 cent part seems rough. Goal - as we do our DIY jobs, document the size of Orings so we can find the right one...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today? (now Sticky!!)

If it’s running well, Just keep running it paying attention to the beast on coolant and oil. Keep your foot light and use the gas money saved for the next step It’s doesn’t really matter if it’s rings or valves, top of the engine comes off to sort out. I’ve run many low compression cars as daily dri...

Re: How rare is it? 2001 V70 T5M

P2 stick shift should are a dream, I still can’t believe how nicely my 2005 hums on the highway. They got the gearing perfect with a tall third gear and of course a top gear and axle combo that returns 30-32 mpg on the highway.
