Re: 2006 V70 -- Hit Last Night on Commute Home
Recently my wife was "lightly" rear ended at a stop light while driving her 05 S80. The offending driver was in an older, jacked up, Chevy pickup - a real Georgia "mudder". The truck had extended frame rails in front to accommodate the occasional attachment of a tow bar. One of t...

P80 DIY: Oil Cooler Line Rebuild 3528201 3528207
The oil cooler lines on these cars are known for leaking where the rubber hose is crimped to the metal ends. Mine have been leaking for about 4 years, but it was a slow leak. Today I decided to repair them. The Volvo replacements are a steep $250 for the pair. There are aftermarket brands but the re...

Re: 1996 850 rear hub torque specification, updated, two different nuts used, change in 1996
Found this in VIDA. Vehicle profile set to 1996 AME 850. Information type: Specifications, mechanical. Search all for "Rear wheel hub" you should find it. One thing Volvo is infamous for is: midyear production changes that are not uniform across the production plants. Jim Bee: What is the ...
