I was re-reading this thread and realized I never closed the loop on the coolant issue. I’m happy to report that my coolant leak was just a loose clamp. It’s been well over a year. I am back in Tahoe again with the family in the red brick. The car now has over 282,000 miles and running like a champ....

Replaced in oil cap on the lady's '05 XC70!

Had one in an 03 V70 when the kids were smaller. I added the inside latch kit so they could get out without waiting for me to come open the tailgate. Seemed like a good thing.

They're both teenagers now, but they still tell me how much they miss riding in the way back.

A little heat helped to dislodge the lower seal.


Working up a plan on those pinion drum seals. Gotta CAD up something first.
