Re: Power Steering Leak fixed today - some questions please
Yes, there should be a locking washer over the pipe metal nut. It looks like a small bracket attached to the right upper pump bolt, many don't put it back not knowing its role is to precisely prevent the pipe nut from loosening under various vibrations. Re: Water in Gas
That's a lot of water. You might look at the station where you last purchased gas as a possible cause. It happens. Once a year or so locally I'll hear of some station where their underground tank didn't get sealed properly after a delivery and a torrential rain ends up in people's fuel tanks. Or th...

Re: Climate Blower Motor will Not Shut Off
I had a customer coming with the same issue. I sold him a regulator and he said it's working fine now. To replace the regulator the cabin blower needs removed as well as the lower cover with two torx. You may be better to replace the whole blower with a new aftermarket unit at this point, even with ...

Re: 2003 S60 Starts then dies immediately
Welcome, the PEM is an easy replacement and can be find on scrapyards on cars that had it already replaced (was a very common fault on metal fuel tank cars). A spare FPS is also easy to remove, turbo and non turbo have different sensors and the sensors were also updated http://forums.swedespeed.com/...

Re: 2004 T6, tranny replaced w/rebuilt OE
I suppose at 130K miles that was the second transmission replacement. But anyway, the 'refurbished' ones from Volvo may last between 40-70K miles. Just double check it was indeed coming from Volvo (just a call to the main dealer) and it's not just a used one from a junkyard. Certainly the owner sold...

Re: slow passenger front window
Not the mechanisms, it's the rubber trim at the bottom of the glass that is worn (causes lot of friction) or even broken and a piece got trapped between the glass.
Most often time it's the trim on the inside.

Re: slow passenger front window
The second one, the rubber trim that sits at the top of the door car. The exterior one can be pulled by hand, while the interior one needs the window lowered and the door card removed (careful when placing it back as it can go in several ways in but only one way is correct).

Re: Heater Core Hose Leak
Grab one from the junk yard, new should be pricey. Toss the hose with a flat screwdriver at the engine block, it is stuck on it and needs some help to remove it from there. May toss away the silver hose to make some place. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNdgdMmiNvE While there, may want to check th...

Re: Heater Core Hose Leak
Make sure you get genuine Volvo hoses for those parts. After market stuff is poor quality on these items Yes, important, the $35 seems a little low, suggest buying only from Volvo for this part For the access to it, there is a long aluminum looking large tube from the air box, removing this tube wi...
