Re: Desperately seeking photos
I have a 1999 S80, currently fighting with a damn canbus issue for months now, but if i can solve it in reasonable budget i think i will going to do a LOT of work on the car and put it in my garage to keep it, it has only 130k miles in it. I will indeed make a lot of pictures, i think all the above ...

Rough Idle after Timing Belt change and Solution I just did my timing belt change on a Volvo C30 P1 2.4i exactly following the videos on fcpeuro and mtl carguy. I got my timing belt perfectly lined up with all timing marks lined up even after 2 sets of turning the crankshaft manually. I also used th...

Do your DIN bubble flare practice, then cut it off, put the flare nut on, repeat. Now cut it off again, and p...

Re: Wooosshhh!!!! sound accellerating TURBO
Most of the stainless steel clamps are very low grade stainless, with predictable results. The ABA or stock Norma Volvo clamps cost more money but are much better quality and won’t rust. If you save Francs here, you need to up the inspection time investment accordingly. Einstein taught us that space...

Re: No compression on 1 - burnt valve?
The Red Brick has 285,335 miles on it now. The P0455 was a bad purge valve. It was annoying that I took the car for diagnostics and they proclaimed my purge valve good. Sure it was “clicking” when energized, but it wasn’t sealing. I took it off to bench test and realized what was going on immediatel...
