Today's photos: Bed and Breakfasts in Scotland. We stayed at these. If you have not visited a Bed and Breakfast, they are most often a pleasant experience In the US or Scotland. Often they are a chance to meet new people with very different lives.

I think the main part is rock, but the black blade is metal. That is all I know.

Today's photo: Great Salt Lake, Utah in 2011. At that time the lake levels were relatively high. Today the level is near a record low. The historic range from high to low is about 20 feet, but the surface area and volume change varies about three times from low to high.
