Re: AC not cooling /

45 might be ok if it is over 80 degrees outside. Please see this link for pressure vs temp:
http://acprocold.com/faq/r-134a-system-pressure-chart/
I wouldn't feel comfortable making my pressure that high though.

Re: No Sparks... No Idea what to do...

Dmck, if the OPs car doesn't fire up, would you be willing to test voltage of your coil while cranking. I think the 11V is too high. Even if rotor is on wrong, the voltage should have been correct. Of course, it might be my senility acting up again. I'd try it regardless out of curiosity, but my car...

Re: 850 engine pressure build-up

Likely that either your pcv vacuum (hose to intake manifold) is clogged or you didn’t clean the bottom pcv port to engine as well as you think you did. This port clogs after 90 degree bend down to oil pan. Many remove oil pan to clean it. I dumped a qt of gunk oil flush down the port to clean it and...

Re: #6 Fuse Keeps Blowing car won't start 98 a70 Help

Note that fuse 6 feeds 3 other fuses for central locking. Disconnect all 3 of them and see if fuse 6 blows again. If so, central locking is not likely the issue. Need to see what else is fed by fuse 6. By the way, if you have an ohm meter, you don’t need to keep blowing fuses while testing. Just con...

Re: 2005 V70NAM56 abs brake code BCM-0070

I dealt with BBA-Reman out of Massachusetts. I had them do my P2 DIM and a Buick DIM repair. I have been planning to have them re-build by BCM ($85 price on ebay), but still have higher priority issues trying to stage 0.

Re: 1999 S70 NA Hard Starting after fill-up

This was happening to me when I bought my 2000 v70 a little over a year ago. Fuel (vapors?) fill evap system and flood the engine. I had to push throttle to the floor and crank for 10 seconds or so after every fill up to get the engine running and then, yes, keep rpms high for a little longer. The r...

Re: OBDII ---> VIDA

That tube is part of your pcv system, that needs replaced. Bad news is you have to take off intake manifold to get to other side of that tube.

Re: 1997 850 NA Automatic not starting

I tested the 50E pin with the red lead and hooked up the black lead to a jumper cables going back to the ground on the battery. Readings went from 14 to 0 see video: I looked at video. Your voltages are 143mV (note mV symbol in top right corner of screen) and 0. 143mV=.143V I expected you to get 12...

Re: Volvo V70XC parasitic drain and occasional no-start issues

You really have 2 symptoms and they should be troubleshooted separately. They could be related, but there is a fair chance that they are not. One is your parasitic draw issue. That one didn’t make your car break down in traffic. I ignored this symptom in my post above as it is the least of your issu...
