Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

You don't need to drop the tank, the connector is accessible under the cargo floor, right near the fuel pump access panel. It might take some creative fishing to get the new one in place, but it's not too hard.

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

Pressure washed the engine after removing the air box, IAC, and distributor in prep for changing the TPS. I got the TPS changed but was still getting into grease, as I find it's very difficult to clean in that area due to the angle. The screw towards the timing belt for the TPS is very difficult to...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

Couldnt find an engine for my V70, so I bought a parts car. Kinda liked how comfortable on the way home and it's nicely specced (red C70 LPT auto with the fancy audio stuff, sunroof...), now I dont wanna part it out. Welp, another project   Yeah, I've done that a few times. My E46 was su...

The ORE was offered in 2002 and I think 2006 (or maybe it was '05). They didn't make a ton of them. It was also a trim level on the XC90,...

Re: Evap leak at breather on filler neck? Might have to dig deeper...

A user messaged me about a possible solution to this, and I realized I never posted a solution. I wish I had a solid answer as to what fixed the code, but this is just a guess. I believe the solution in this case was the purge valve, as that was the last thing I ended up replacing just to try to eli...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

Yup, my BMWs do that too. It can be a good feature, but it's annoying unless you're parallel parking. Fortunately you can deactivate it by leaving the mirror control switch to the passenger side.

Those Euro style mirrors are great, very good design!
