Re: Wheel Bearing? Hit curb now there's noise!

Wheel bearing or CV joint damage.

Wheel bearing will whir much more when the front end is steered away from the bad bearing. Try this at about 35 mph

Re: XC70 Rear Washer Nozzle Movement

It's relatively easy to dismantle the entire motor assembly if you take it out of the car. A project for a rainy day.

Re: Bevel Gear Adjuster Nut Leak?

Your AG doesn't look terribly crusty so you might be safe from the corrosion and the scary stuff for the adjuster removal. If you do the O ring for the adjuster then I would do the seals while the cap is out as in the car R&R of that seal is not nice as you likely already know. If you do remove ...

Re: Just bought 2007 S80 3.2 121K

Congrats on the S80 purchase My Son is driving the 2010 S80 that I bought for him. I do get to fix it. (although it doesn’t require much fixing) Back to the problem at hand First Roberts suggestion is an excellent starting point. I looked on FCP and it seems that there are two pumps one for the wind...

Re: Just bought 2007 S80 3.2 121K

Take a look at this video It’s for a XC70 but I suspect it’s similar to the S80 If it is similar then one of the pumps is accessible by removing the liner from the wheel well But the other one doesn’t seem to be https://youtu.be/zNcD67ib4Tk Thanks Paul PS is you want to watch fun Volvo repair videos...

Re: Just bought 2007 S80 3.2 121K

Is the best way to repair this the front bumper removal or can it be done through the fender liner? Thanks! Also, perhaps I should post another topic as I find issues with our new ride...but the front exhaust hanger is rusted off. Position on car is just aft of the front seats underneath. I've sear...
