Yes. Same result with key in or out of the ignition. I found it. The left front door switch grounds the Chime and activates it. The Chime get it's power from the ignition switch so it should turn off with the key removal. Looks like two of the contacts in the ignition switch are wielded together. Y...

Everything to the right of the CEM is on the same CAN bus. I would start by: 1. Pulling and cleaning the connectors on the CEM. 2. Check for evidence of water ingress on the CEM. 3. It should be tight.The plastic shift linkage bushing are worn out. Not uncommon for a car 15+ years old. Install some new bushings and the slop in the will be history.

A low Battery or noisy Alternator would trip lots of codes. Get Vida-DiCE setup, clear the DTCs, see what comes back.

Pull the timing belt cover off and take a good look at the timing belt tensioner. From your description it sounds like the tensioner may of broken/slipped allowing the timing belt to jump just enough to cause a no start condition but not enough to cause interference. Push on the timing belt. Does it...
