Re: SC-901 cable color connectors A y B help needed

If the R-SB has +12V on it, pull fuse 11C/7 and see it pulling the fuse cuts the power on the R-SB. If it does you confirmed what ...

Re: Complete car rewiring with module delete possible?

gnalan wrote: 03 Dec 2020, 15:06 Is there any way of finding the CEM pin within the log files
On a legal VIDA you can dig the CEM pin number out of the logs but not the pirated VIDA. The pirate VIDA does not connect to the Volvo PIE (Product Information Exchange) online database where the PINs are stored.

Re: Temp. Sensor connector

Just loose ... Get a set of Terminal Pin Extractors. Extract the pins from the connector. Tighten the pins or replace them. Terminal Pin Extractors unlock the pins so that one can pull then out of the connector. The hardest part is figuring out which Extractor for the many types of pins. You can fin...

Re: 09 XC90 3.2 Exhaust Manifold replacement

Using different socket and wrench combinations in conjunction with penetrants. Also applied heat (very dangerous in such a tight space). Have you tried this? 1. Cut the wire off. 2. Run the engine to heat it. 3. Work it free with a 22mm deep impact socket and a breaker bar. By work it free I mean t...

Re: Vida CEM swapping

I can't seem to find a datasheet for the MC68386. Are you sure that's the correct IC? I cannot find a datasheet. I found the part number on the D5T5 website . Companies are keeping a tight rein on what use to be readily available information. Not surprising considering one of the big issues today i...

Re: Coil pack melting

Yes Rick I know, they’re all clean and tight, I was thinking more of the crimp lugs on the loom. Either way it all looks as it should.I’m still wondering where I’m getting a 7ohm reading between ground and the primary coil even when the loom is disconnected from the coils and the fuse is out😏 There...

Re: What's the difference between...

Folk, Dud, Buddi and Bro ? Folk is people in general. As in German Volkswagen .. a wagon for people in general not just the upper classes. Dude is American English slang for an individual, typically male, who dressed in an extremely fashionable manner (a dandy). Buddy is a close friend. A variant o...
