Thanks for the help and support.

I chopped of the connector from my -03 spares engine and just hooked it up in my car, installed the new solenoid, and it started up just fine :)

I received it, but haven’t gotten to it yet. It’s a good sized hex. I’m thinking I’ll get an offset box end wrench with some length. Looks like you have to go in from below.

update on this one, turns out my electronic throttle body was toast too. Looks like multiple issues. The new fuel filter and fuel line likely were not the main cause of my rough idle. I replaced the ETB with one from FCP euro, not the official Volvo replacement but I think the Bosch model. Works gre...

Fixed. Cold wet garage floor was fun. There’s about 3” of clearance between the bottom of the pan and the subframe. You can get your hand up there, but hard to rotate it or thread the sensor in blind. It’s somewhere around 23mm, which of course I don’t have. No way a deep socket and ratchet would fi...
