How did you check it was not low on freon? Don't you have to evacuate all freon and refill it properly?
I am also pretty sure that the AC has a protection circuit. In 107 degree weather I could imagine that happening.

Re: 850 Rear Windshield Wiper
+1 on the wiring harness if the motor doesn't work or works intermittent. I was able to solder the brokwn wires back together without removing anything except for the plastic cover on the hinge

Re: diagnose steering rack leak 850
I bought 3 bottles of ATP 205 a few years ago via amazon prime. shipping was really cheap. I have some left, I think. shoot me a pm if you can't get it. I would only use ATP 205, most other products don't work in the long run. ATP fixed my rear main seal and it has been working for 3 or 4 years. On ...

Re: 0w20 oil on 850 awd?
I'd stick with 5W-40, 0W-40 is too thin from my experience, and 0W-20 is WRONG. The manual suggests 10W-40, 5W-40 is better for your temperatures.

Re: 0w20 oil on 850 awd?
Handbook will say 10W-30 in summer and 5W-30 for winter. 5W-40 is what I use for my 2000 V70R as that is what is specified in the handbook. Car doesn't tend to use oil between services even with 270kkm on the engine. I know some owners use 0W-XX oils on their older cars, but it is too thin unless y...
