Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
Looked under Blue Steel’s hood to check the coolant level and saw these cracks where I’d seen some weeping over the summer. Why hasn’t it leaked? Can I JB Weld it, or is it an urgent replacement? I’m guessing the latter. 8D2198C4-611F-459F-98A1-7BEB9E2C57CA.jpeg I wouldn't run the risk to see the s...

Re: How did you change your O2 sensor without a lift?
If you have a split socket, you can always use a hose clamp around the body of it to prevent it opening up and slipping.

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
Don't think you need a coolant cleaner unless you are not replacing the coolant relatively frequently like every 3-4 years. You can flush it with water. I would suggest if the Nissens radiator is not supplied with new 'O' rings and clips the 'O' rings are definitely worth changing, the clips/clamps ...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
If you have not already done it, start soaking the 2 radiator mounting bolts (one either side). Thread is pointing upwards. This will hopefully prevent the bolts breaking the captured nuts off and spinning. Job then becomes a lot more 'fun'!
Good luck!
