Re: What did you do to your Volvo today? (now Sticky!!)
Probably a pinhole leak. Just replace it soon before it becomes a large leak!

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today? (now Sticky!!)
At 180k that's really smart. They get tired after 100k and will respond slower to changes in O2 content. The real danger is when they run the car lean and burn valves.
I went to 140k and replaced them

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today? (now Sticky!!)
Tightened the wiper blade nut on the T5-R. Again. Exhausting job, wiped me out. About a month ago I noticed 3 out of 4 CV boots leaking grease on the 96 855, so I parked it. This weekend I finally got it into the garage and the axles pulled. Will try to chip away at re-booting them this week. One o...

Re: Tired exhaust and very sporadic O2 OBD codes... replace cat?
Are used cats not illegal to buy/sell in the US? Where has the muffler failed? It can be the flexi-pipe/down-pipe from the manifold.
Can't advise on the cat part as I am a dog person, nor on the car option either!
Neil.

Re: 1997 850 NA Automatic not starting
With the red wire hooked up like that, you are doing what turning the key is supposed to do - providing 12 V to where the green wire connects. Since your wire works but the key doesn't, then as dj_v70 said, something is wrong in the regular electrical path from the battery to the where the green wir...

Someone on another Volvo centric site that does not play well with inline attachments was asking about XC90 lift and rest points.

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today? (now Sticky!!)
Ive got a like new starter for you Bruno Lets get the real ECM codes from that Puppy - those mapped codes probably arent right. VOLVO generates ECM codes - VIDA always reads them right Scanners have a software map that maps Volvo to Pxxx codes, the generic ones like P0455 map fine, the manufacturer...
