Re: Safety of S70 vs newer cars
Volvo gave up its safety advantage starting about 15-20 years ago when advanced computer modeling for crash simulation became widespread. Now even the lowest Hyundai is decent at safety. Computer modeling leveled the playing field among car companies. Not really... computer modeling made things bet...

Re: 2004 S60 Power Steering Leak
At this age (15y and 63K), there is a round hose behind the engine block. This hose can leak very slowly. Not a bad idea to replace that short hose, about $8 from Volvo dealer. So from the above conversation, I'm planning on replacing the PS reservoir - it looks like that's definitely the problem a...

If you get a 16 up XC90 or 18 up XC60 look for this dash. It is optional. Also here is the autostart button. On the old XC60 it is a actual button in front of the gear shifter. June

Re: Looking for XC60 buying advice
I have been in this 18 XC60 service loaner for a week so I popped by the dealer today and noticed the dash map has a cute Volvo marker! I could not resist sharing a picture! They have not even touched my car so I likely will have this XC the rest of the week. It really is growing on me, but I can't ...
