Re: Look at the difference between a group 3 and group 5 oil I'm amazed

This is my 5W40 ACEA A3/B4 after about 3500 km. It's an own brand oil from a large German retailer. 20 litres for $60. I'm doing 10 000 km OCIs while the Volvo spec calls for 20 000 km and previous owner has stuck to that. I think I'm getting some old stuff out still when I add new oil with fresh cl...

I put top tier premium in the Cirrus (Car I had before the Volvo) that didn't even call for it. Probably one of the reasons I got almost 200...

Re: 2008 S60 2.5T are these good?

Now I chuckle at people flooring their cars when the lights go green only to get stuck at the next light that hasn't yet had the time to turn green. When I was younger, I was one of them. :D

The C70 looks great, June, really nice find.

Re: Vacuum hose to banjo bolt broke, where and what does it do?

If I recall correctly this set up is for both cooling and vacuum or air supply. The curved outside part is for coolant which I think is designed to heat and cool the intake or the air coming in. The Banjo portion is to route air via the banjo bolt that goes into the intake and that is the hose that ...

Re: Extended Warranty 205 -PCV OIL TRAP AND VENTILATION

Actually it's completely different than an S80...that requires a breather box under the intake manifold and all related hoses to come loose and the inlets at the engine to be cleaned and most often those related hoses and breather box (or oil trap as some refer to it to be replaced. On the P1 platfo...
