You also have to be honest with yourself. Are you the kind who will put up your hood every weekend to look for things that aren’t tight or will you drive it like an appliance?

If the latter, replace parts on the PM model rather than waiting for failure.

You may have a bad reservoir. If it appears to stay wet around the cap than replacing the reservoir is your first action. A part breaks inside causing the fluid to aerate causing a noisy pump. I'm glad I was able to save you money and hassle of replacing the pump! Thanks for those great photos!!! I know when I first posted it was the reservoir you had to think I was nuts :lol: :lol: :lol: June You did save me money and hassle for sure and I greatly appreciate it, thanks again June.

It all comes down to paying now (good stuff) for the long term or getting by using cheap stuff and you may have to pay more later. This is the basic choice every vehicle owner makes. Just get by for now or plan for long term ownership.
