Re: Front end clunk... Anyone tried these ?
Does the position of the steering wheel or front end handling change from clunk to clunk? Those subframe bush inserts address play that can develop where the subframe doesn't stay put laterally. When the rubber inside subframe mounts get soft the vehicle will wander around the road instead of travel...

Re: Front end clunk... Anyone tried these ?
OP- your noise is most likely the subframe bushings. My subframe bushings are in bad shape, the front end clunks SO bad when I'm turning tightly. The front end also wanders a little bit when I'm doing more than like 70 mph. I also notice when I hit close to lock in the steering wheel, it almost feel...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today? (now Sticky!!)
Having replaced the bad coil and appreciated the sound of the smoothly running engine, today I stared at the dashboard and said some blue words because the blower motor quit again. I've replaced it once already in the 2 years I've had this car with a same-year unit from the boneyard (along with the...

Northeast Bumblebanana? Is that another name for Boston traffic? =) It might as well be... Today was the expected inspection fail on the e-brake; pleasantly surprised nothing else turned up given MA's new inspection system. Big Brother is watching, quite literally. Cameras everywhere. The new...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today? (now Sticky!!)
I usually use FCP for parts... their lifetime warranty is unbeatable and their prices are usually the best. They should have AWD rear rotors.
