Still going on the maintenance with the XC. These things are completely useless in rental cars. On a biz trip , I don’t have to sit there figuring out how to drive the car.
I recently had a Honda CRV and the Applenplay connected to my phone about half the time and would drop. No good trying to establish comms on CA 91 at 80 mph

Here is some general information on tap types and tapping threads. Go slow and easy. Key point on blind holes is to get the cuttings out the top by frequently backing out the tap and cleaning. Good luck.
