Re: Heater Core Hose Leak

PART NUMBER: 30745334 for hose that is on the left (right looking at firewall). PART NUMBER: 30745329 for hose that is on the right (left looking at firewall). Looks like these part numbers are for many Volvo cars, so just plug them in and pull up the diagrams to make sure it is what you are looking...

Re: Heater Core Hose Leak

Grab one from the junk yard, new should be pricey. Toss the hose with a flat screwdriver at the engine block, it is stuck on it and needs some help to remove it from there. May toss away the silver hose to make some place. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNdgdMmiNvE While there, may want to check th...

Re: Heater Core Hose Leak

Make sure you get genuine Volvo hoses for those parts. After market stuff is poor quality on these items

Re: Heater Core Hose Leak

If the hose you have snaps and secures in place I would leave it. Keep an eye on it for a few gas tank fills. As the part you bought is not OEM the connector is different. I suppose you could try to remove the hose from your old connector with out damaging the plastic and buy some hose of appropriat...

Re: S60 Sputtering on acceleration?

If I may chime in, since codes read misfire on #2 for lean conditions (either too much air or too little fuel), I would look into these two: 1. Injector # 2 not firing - quick check wiring first (unplug connector and then re-connect, inspect wires visually) or bad/clogged injector (check continuity)...

Re: S60 Sputtering on acceleration?

The issue was probably just a loose connection on the fuel injector connector. Keep an eye on it, if it doesn't come back over a couple weeks then pretty much for sure that was it.

If you swapped in a cheapo coil I would put the factory one back one, save the new one for troubleshooting purposes.

Re: S60 Sputtering on acceleration?

Interesting, no CEL with misfire codes... I would not go for replacement injectors (if this is intermittently occurring on #2 according to the 'same exact codes' predicament.) Take another close look at that # 2 injector electrical connector; inspect for loose, recessed or corroded pins on both the ...
