Mangefine Filter Installed w/ Pictures

Today I finally got around to doing the transmission flush on my wife s60. The car had 94K miles on it and I'm not sure it's ever been done, so I was a little worried about the urban legends of high mileage flushes. Legend goes that the new fluid loosen "stuff" and could cause issues with ...

I finally decided to fix an annoying problem that I was having for a while when basically there is no brake assist when engine is cold. DIY: 2005 XC90 2.5T Blower Motor Lubrication

DIY: 2005 XC90 2.5T Blower Motor Lubrication - My 2005 XC90 2.5T with 110K miles has squeaky Blower Motor when speed is set at “2 notches or so”. I know the motor needs lubrication. Re: Rear spring installation

Did you Install a striker plate. Did you leave 15mm of space between the end of the spring and the raised portation of the control arm?
See the attached replacement procedures.

Re: Rear spring installation

Does anybody know where to get the striker plate? Google came up empty. FCP euro does not have it either. Lots of options: eBay Germany , fabricate one, hire Daveliz99 to fabricate one, beg Daveliz99 to donate one to the MVS loan a tool program. https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/qo8AAOSwIjJZT23v/s-l30...

Re: Dim not responding 2005 V70 2.4 NA

Yes, a leak to CEM is a good guess then. Start with that. If you see the leak you may need to find where exactly it enters the cabin and water-proof that place. You may need to crack CEM open to clean the mess or at least see how it's doing. Use zip ties to fix a bazillion of plastic tabs in place.....

Re: Dim not responding 2005 V70 2.4 NA

How many miles? Same miles on DIM/maintenance papers? As mentioned, I'd look at the CEM, 2005 has water ingress (Xemodex) and can cause DIM issues Brake booster vacuum pump not working can be burnt from over running from leaking brake booster pedal seal www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKcDOLIYR3A Don,t forg...

Re: Dim not responding 2005 V70 2.4 NA

There is a TSB on resealing the CEM harness, see if that’s been done.

The 2005 NA club is the exclusive group of superior people, too, just so you know.

Re: Dim not responding 2005 V70 2.4 NA

So when you say DIM is not responding you're just referring to the service reset?

It lights up and has message display? Speedo/tacho operational?

Is it off the network only after attempting a service reset then comes back to life?
