Re: Hard to Start After DIY Work
Miley, I own two 3.2s with the same engine as your XC90 both are over 130,000 miles and I plan to keep both to 300,000 or more. If you really like your XC90 I can help you to fix it. If you are selling no matter what then no need to read the rest of this post. The first thing I would do is 1. replac...

The 3.2 is your XC90 was built at a FORD factory in the UK (Land Rover and Volvo were part of the Premier Automotive Group under FORD) The only difference ...

Re: $10,000 S80 Challenge
.........................As far as your $10K- 10 year 2010 S80 challenge, I'd give it 50-50 odds (with someone like you doing most of the maintenance), and assuming CA-level smog inspections every 2 years........................................... Re: $10,000 S80 Challenge
Rvolvo, To answer your question I was aware of the oil consumption TJ before I bought my S80 and it didn't convince me not to buy my S80. For my LR2 3.2 with synthetic oil only since new (I brought the oil to the dealer for the "Free oil changes" because I didn't want to use a low quality ...

Re: $10,000 S80 Challenge
Well done Paul You are driving a $60,000 luxury car on a $8000 cost, and you could probably get most all of it back if you chose, MVS Readers , I wanted to quote this comment from ABSCATE . Re: 2007 S80 Sunroof Gasket help!
I haven’t had to do this on my S80
But I am aware of the gap (mine is small but if it gets larger I will need to fit a new gasket)
Here is a thread about replacing the gasket
https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=212944
Good luck
