More service light question S40 2001 Topic is solved

The service light is on as soona as I turn on the car. After half minute driving, the light is off. Anyone has the same problem? Shall I just go ahead and reset the service light?

What is your service interval?
Maybe it's just time for service.

To reset your interval manually you do the following: (did it last night)

I. Turn ignition into postion 1
II. Push odometer button and hold it.
III. Turn to postion II (where the lights go on) keep holding button
IV. After 10 seconds de service light starts blinking keep pushing and you will hear a beep.
V. Start your engine
