Well it started last winter but I ignored it until yesterday when it was, once again cold outside. When I start the car and get under way and it's under say 35 degrees f out side, I am getting this howling sound that seems to increase with the engine speed. It only happens during the first minute or so that I am driving and intermittently will happen if I push in the clutch and just rev the engine. Anybody have this experience? Thanks in advance for your help.

I have seen this come from power steering pumps in other cars. Usually not an indication of a problem, just a nuisance in the case of the PS pump. Just a thought.
