Repairs on the ABS/STC Control module

I need to send my ABS/STC control unit out to be repaired. I have visited this site before in the past. I found exact directions on how to remove the ABS/STC control unit myself.... saving me at least $940.00. I remeber there was an individual mentioned before on this Forum who fixes/ rebuilds the ABS/STC control module for close to $130.00 or so, and then he ships it back to you all within a 1 to 2 week timeframe. I just don't remember who he was, or what the address was to ship it to. Could someone please let me know the contact. I believe he was based out of California????? Thank you

I think this is the link you're talking about. I have no firsthand experience with him; I pulled that link from a post by White850Turbo, in case that matters.

All the ABS control units (Installed on 96 and newer 850, 70 series and S80 models) will eventually fail after they reach 65,000 miles or 5 years. The average is 85,000 miles and/or 6 years for failures.

A dealer will charge from $60.0 to $120.00 to diagnose the problem and about 95% of the cases the mechanic will recommend to replace the ABS control unit.

The turnaround time is usually 6-7 days including the shipping both ways.
