New one for me:

Manual passenger seat is stuck all the way forward. The bar under the seat is all the way up and it won't go down. The seat doesn't slide at all but the back does recline. So I can't seem to get the seat to move back.

Did a cable break somewhere? Some tab not releasing that I can ...

I definitely don't want to "spark" a big debate, but what brand style spark plugs is everyone running?

I usually go with the Volvo branded ones for my 2013 Volvo C30. But on FCP's website they are $89 vs Bosch ones for $33.

I'm at 126K for miles so it is time to change the plugs. Every 60K miles ...

I would not use 0w30 in your car. I would be using 5w30. or even try 5w40.

UPDATE

Last week I took the car back and they said they would look at it. Apparently the PCV part they put on was defective and wasn't pulling vacuum like it was supposed to. So they replaced it. Now things are back to how they were before. Still puffing blue smoke on cold starts in the morning ...

I got a call from the mechanic today. They said they think the part might be faulty since no vacuum was being made. So they are ordering a new breather system, bench testing it to make sure everything works and then putting it in the car.

They are only using Volvo parts but k wonder if they should ...
