Is the ajar signal on all the time? Try one more thing. Have the window down and close the door. If the ajar signal is on try locking the car with the key from the outside and see if the ajar signal goes away. Also, I forgot to mention in the initial post that this also triggers the driver's side door ajar signal in the dash. I just wanted to make a note of that here and see if there is any additional concerns I need to be aware of.
