04 volvo s80 2.9 non turbo starts idleing low and cruise quits at same time,happens intermittently. Anyone have an idea?

It was an existing problem but new ETM made it a little better. Maf was not working at that point but is now. Ill try a tune up and see if that helps. First start if given throttle it will stay cranked and idle fine then after it gets to temperature or driven for about 2 miles it will start missing ...

New etm and mass air flow.

Sprayed starting fluid around everything,throttle body,hoses,injectors,intake,no response. Seems to be ok in that area.

Pulled maf plug nothing happened. Traced wires found splice,reconnected 2 that had come undone. Tried again and it stalled. Maf good now but still stalls when not given throttle then will idle until it gets to temperature then it starts spitting and sputtering and goes into limp mode.

Thanks for the reply. New throttle body and new maf installed. Check engine light on, i ll get codes in the morning and unplug maf then get back with you. Thanks again.
