Looking at my old records the alternator was replaced in 2020 and this coupler part was 90 bucks at the Volvo dealer. Looks like gaskets went up in price too. 6 for 33 compared to 6 for 90

Have 191k miles on it. The noise doesn't rev match. It's a hard noise to describe. It sounds like something is trying to fail.

Yeah, it was the alternator. It actually went out maybe a year or so later AGAIN. Luckily when you get your work done at the dealer it's a lifetime warranty

Ac stops working when stopped or idling. Curious what the issue was for other people who went through this.

2 years later update:

The 2013 xc60 is around 133k miles. Had to replace both front axles and some other part for around 3k at the dealer. The AC is also messed up because it only blows cold when the car is moving. Fun fun. I need a better job
