Finally went on a 300 miles trip and fuel consumption seems great. I guess the car needed a long run. At 280 miles, fuel guage was a point below halt tank mark.

I currently run 40 psi. Over here we do not have Techron. What we have is Total and I have actually used the fuel Injector cleaner. Will just wait and monitor things during my 490km road trip next week. Thanks guys

Thanks for the responses guys, I have actually changed the ECT and the thermostat as well still issue persist. Will monitor the upper hose and inspect the ECT connector.

Thanks for the response guys. I have a 300 miles trip on the 17th of this month. That should give me time to really check the MPG and would also be the first time driving over 30 miles in a single trip since I purchased the car.
