So without Vida even being opened on the computer, and with the dice device plugged into obd2 and the USB port... should the computer be able to recognize the dice unit?

I believe this unit is bad. I installed windows 7 and worked through the drive issues I had with that. Same result code 43.

I am going to request a replacement or full refund.

Disregard I won’t sell this. I am now convinced it is the unit itself having now tried windows 7 and another PC. I have requested a return without having to pay for shipping.

I have a brand new Vida Dice for sale. In absolutely full disclosure, I could not get it to work. But, I believe it is my computer more than the unit itself and trying to make it Windows 10 vice Windows 7. This unit powers up fine, but I was getting am "Invalid Descriptor Device Descriptor"...

Appreciate the assist. I have tried all things and a windowsPE image from the other forum. All the same result. I do not ha e the patience for this computer stuff anymore. I knew it worked at least to get into Vida, but had preferred to have it installed. So they are downloading... Again.. appreciate the tips...

Bios updated.. same result

Flipped disable/enable.. same result

Removed all usb drivers.. rebooted.. same result

Would not manual install win7 usb 3 driver

Went into bios and turned off usb 3.0 controller.. same result

Not for sure what to try..
