I see- I'll give that a shot. I was just removing literally only the part covering the battery, but it sounds like more of the cover needs to be removed.

MrBreeze- could you give a little more info on how you got to the fan from the passenger foot well? I'm trying to get under there, but it still looks like I'd need to take some things out before I could reach the blower.

Could you post a picture of what you did? Or what cover you removed? I must be misunderstanding; I took the battery cover off and couldn't see a thing lol
