ok ic , wise words.. i will check the wiring to see if it all looks ok. but i mean how do i check if the wire is getting voltage from the switch. Would a trouble light do the trick? you know those lights that look like a screwdriver n come with a bulb and a clip

ya i checked the hoses cant see anything, and the accordion hose thing seems okay, im gona have to buy one of those books to locate the idle speed motor, thanks again

I changed the coolant temp censor recently because it showed up as a code. As for the fuel pressure check flow valve and the cold starting injector no i never changed them, or know where they are for that matter, lol, im new to volvos im more of a GM guy. I dont know how crimping the fuel line helps...
