Re: P2 V70R cup holder annoyance

If you want to make something I've used these in the hard plastic dash and console trays of my Nissan Frontier to keep stuff from sliding around. Thin and easy to cut to size.

Yeah, I have nothing... all loose, crunch, noisy plastic.

Re: P2 V70R cup holder annoyance

Okay, so it seems that this doesn't bother others as much as it does me. Or perhaps mine is just lose and rattles more than others. With that being said, as soon as I can get to it, i'm going to make a video of my upgrade to these / this cupholder in the center console in the near future. Stay tuned.

Looks to be the same camera I have, but I like my bracket setup better, the camera is centered on the car. Having it offset like that would drive me nuts.

I think the upper right license plate bolt missing is bothering me even more.

P2 V70R cup holder annoyance

Hey all. So i'm writing to find out if this bugs anyone else. One of my gripes about the car is the cheap, noisy, hard plastic cup holders that's in the car. I would have assumed by now someone can up with a more rubberized insert or a better replacement for center cup holders. I'm not sure if it's ...

Re: Newbie to V70R world

The cheapo shafts are notorious for being junk right out of the box or soon thereafter. For a lot of issues on these cars, work done by the previous owner is a red flag not a bonus - many aftermarket parts are crap.

If you can find out where they bought the replacement shafts that would be ...

Ah, very nice... exactly what I was looking for. πŸ‘
Now why didn't I just look for that myself.

Is that an open invitation to help with the flush? 8) I take it you have done this before and are familiar with doing it?

Re: V70R hard downshift

I just wish he did a bit more in-depth on how he got started and how he added the new fluid. Not sure I feel confident enough to try this at home yet. Ugh. But I do think this is a good idea, since I have this new (used) R and should do all that I can to protect it.

Here is a more in-depth video on the flushing method. Look for videos so it's applicable to your Volvo. Just use Volvo fluid no Valvoline.

Awesome, thanks!
